The real benefits of ActiveRain? Read on and see if you agree!!!
I was spurred on to write this post by a comment I just got from a member on my post "How do we keep the "Up-trend" going? In that comment, Michael mentions that we have so much to be thankful for with our contacts here on AR; how we share ideas and benefit from the connections...and in my agreement with his thought I opened my mind to the things I might be doing if I were not engaged with the members here on AR. So here is the list---see if you agree??
1. This is the Big One: What do I think about when I am not involved in an activity or working on real estate? Usually I would be pre-occupied with the deal that I am working on right now---is it going to happen? Am I going to get that offer??? is the house going to sell or will it sit there and the exclusive will run out in September and the owner will give it to the next agent who comes along....well you get the picture, Right??? While I am sure I don't focus on the negative, I find myself doing just that if I have too much time on my hands....My participation here on AR is my life (and deal) saver!! I keep my mind on positive things when I am blogging and commenting on AR. At least I am not "awfulizing" about my business when I am here posting an article!!! "You get what you focus on" is my mantra!
2. This is another Big One: Who do I turn to when I have a situation with customer/client and I have exhausted my own best ideas? I turn to AR--post a blog and get (usually) a prompt reply!! It may not be the answer but it will certainly spur on yet another idea from me or another member---How great is that???
3. I have to come up with another viable marketing idea for my business: Before panic sets in, I start to read the most recent blog posts on AR---there is another good suggestion, and another way to use the marketing available to me through AR! I have the chance, through AR, to learn leading edge information about technology for better photographs, more SEO for my internet ads, and on and on...
4. I need to make a decision on how to handle a "Bully" in my office; who do I turn to? You know who---AR of course. Where else am I gong to get first hand knowledge in how to handle this very difficult situation? Who else besides AR members would be able to objectively advise me in how to make a difference in my own approach to the circumstance?
AND THESE ARE BUT A FEW---Do You Have Any more to add to the list??? Please do, and I thank you for your support in all that I have sought out here on Active Rain!!!
